Motion Tracking
Cam W1/Smart camera can follow motion automatically. Using the pan and tilt features, whenever motion is detected, the camera can move to track the motion until the motion stops.
This feature is only available on some cameras.
To turn on Motion Tracking:
1. Please open the app, tap on your Cam
2. Tap Features
3. Tap the Motion Tracking icon
Additional Notes:
1. When the camera detects motion it will move to follow the motion to keep it within the camera's field of view. Once out of view, the camera will return to its initial position.
2. If multiple objects are moving at the same time, the camera will follow the largest moving object in view.
3. After 50 seconds of inactivity (no motion detected), the camera will return to its initial position OR continue the Pan Scan if one was in progress.
4. Motion Tracking can be turned on and off independently of Motion Detection and Patrol.
5. Motion tracking can only support horizontal tracking, not vertical.
