The Camera uses a PIR sensor to detect heat, which triggers the pixel comparison algorithm that compares key frames from the stream and looks for differences between frames.

Note: Due to the PIR sensor's placement, it is optimized to detect side-to-side motion, as opposed to movement from the top down.
To turn on/off Motion Detection:
1. Please open the app, tap on your camera
2. Tap Features
3. Tap the Motion Detection icon.

*When Blue, Motion Detection is On.
*When gray, Motion Detection is Off.
Note: If motion detection is often delayed and unable to capture moving objects, it means that the network in your home is poor or the connection delay with the cloud server is high. The difference between high, medium, and low alarm sensitivity:
①High sensitive: the camera detects that there is an object is moving, as long as there is a slight shaking, it will alarm;
②Medium sensitive: the camera detects that a clearly visible object is moving, and it will alarm when the object has a large movement;
③Low sensitive: the camera detects that there is a clearly visible object moving, and it will alarm when the object moves significantly.
Detection distance:

Low sensitivity: 2-4m trigger
Medium sensitivity: 3-5m trigger
High sensitivity: 4-6 m trigger
To change the Sensitivity:
1. Please open the app, tap on your camera
2. Tap the ”...” on the top right, then tap Detection Alarm Settings.
3. Tap” Alarm Sensitivity Level”, then choose as needed ( Low, Medium, or High)
4. Your change will save automatically.
Human Filtering:
When human filtering is enabled, the camera will only detect the human body.

Note: The human body filter is based on the rough shape of the human body. So, there will be a chance of mistaking detection. And if the environment is too complicated, the detection will also be disturbed by it.
We suggest you adjust the place and angle of the camera to make it detect more exactly.
