Make sure your WiFi network is operating at 2.4GHz if the camera you purchased doesn't support 5GHz networks.
① Due to security concerns, the camera does not support public WIFI.
② Connect your mobile phone to WIFI before attempting to connect the camera.
③ The camera must be powered on to function.
④ Keep the camera and the router as close as possible during the connection process.
⑤ If the WIFI password exceeds 20 digits, the system will prompt, but the camera can ⑥ Still be connected normally. The WIFI password supports up to 58 digits.
2. Resetting and Reconnecting Your Camera:
Follow these steps if your camera encounters connection issues:
① Locate the small reset button on the back of the camera and press and hold it for 5 seconds to initiate a reset.
② After resetting, the indicator light will be red for 30-50 seconds before turning into a red light flash.
③ Open the app, click the "+" in the upper right corner, and select "add device."
④ Choose your camera's model.
⑤ Click "Confirm that the indicator is blinking" first, then click Next.
⑥ Input the correct WiFi password and click confirm.
⑦ Scan the QR code with the camera directly (15-20cm), moving your phone slightly up and down, left and right.
⑧ Click "Heard a Prompt" after hearing the Dong-dong voice and wait for the indicator light to turn blue/green, indicating a successful connection.
